14 Days Classic Lodge Safari, Cultural site visit & Zanzibar Excursion.
Destination: Arusha National park, Lake Eyasi, Serengeti National park, Ngorongoro & Lake Manyara National park This program is a mix of Wildlife viewing on the car and Balloon safaris flying over the Serengeti National park, including sightseeing of Serengeti great wildebeest migration, depending on the season we can adjust this program to suit your travel season for Migration tracking. Also includes Cultures visit at Lake Eyasi Valley, here you will visit Hadzabe ( hunters ) and Datoga tribe (Pastoralist and Farmers ). Zanzibar beach holiday is included on the itinerary but we can separate it and become special for safaris only.

Day 01:
Arrival at Kilimanjaro airport JRO Meet Biko Adventures Tours representative pickup and transfer to Arusha. Stay overnight at Karama Lodge FB
Day 02:
Arusha National park. After early breakfast, we drive through the park up to the starting point of the walking safari, meet with an armed ranger, for a short briefing. You will learn about the flora and fauna of this natural habitat of Africa, enjoy the views of both Mount Meru and the famous Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. The walk is about 3-4 hrs. After the walking safari we continue with the game-drive, to see a lot of wildlife such as black and white Colobus monkey, buffalo, giraffe, warthog, waterbuck and olive baboons, flamingos and other aquatic birds. Day 03:
Drive to Lake Eyasi. We drive across the Iraqw-tribe farmland to Lake Eyasi, home to some traditional living tribes. Today we visit the Datoga, Black-smith and Hadzabe. Datoga are representatives of the earliest people who came into east Africa from south east Ethiopia. Traditionally the young men of this tribe would prove themselves to be a man by killing a person other than Datoga, or an elephant, lion or buffalo, which might be used as the base of a Ceremonial headdress along with pelts of other animals they had killed. We will learn here about the Datoga culture and they will show us their dance. Black smith tribe: The Black-smith are related to the Datoga tribe, but are a different division. They will show us how they melt metal to make their decoration stuff such as neck coils. Hadzabe or Bushmen are the last people in East Africa living traditionally by hunting and gathering wild fruits and roots. They use bow and (sometimes poisoned) arrows for hunting, wandering in the bushes, like they did in prehistoric times. Stay overnight at Lake Eyasi safari lodge.FB
Day 04:
Drive to Serengeti National park. After breakfast we head to the Serengeti National park, via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will stop at the rim of the crater for a great view of the crater, we make our drive around the crater rim to Serengeti Park. Geographically Serengeti is divided into two zones: Eastern-Southern, which is covered with a vast plain made of volcanic ash which was emitted from Ngorongoro highlands, hence the name “Siringet“ , a Maasai word for endless plain. Day 05:
Full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park (Optional Balloon Safari with Extra cost) After breakfast leave your camp for a game drive. The Serengeti National park is part of the Serengeti ecosystem which boasts the greatest wildlife concentrations of ungulates: more than 1 million wildebeests and nearly half a million zebras annually follow the rains around this ecosystem, from the plains to the savannah woodlands, to the Maasai Mara and back to the plains again. This big migration has been described as the greatest wildlife spectacle on earth. We will see lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, buffalo, gazelle and if lucky migration of wildebeest and zebra and a lot of birdlife. The Serengeti is not only famous for the big game roaming over the plains, but also for its great ornithological spectacle. The highlights include the endemic Grey-breasted spurfowl and the true Fischer’s lovebirds, Tanzanian red-billed hornbill, silver bird, magpie shrike and ostrich. Day 06:
Early morning drive from Serengeti National park to Ngorongoro crater Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. Ngorongoro is a huge caldera, a collapsed volcano, 265 sq km in size and 610 m deep. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most beautiful wildlife havens in the World. It is a real animal kingdom; here some of Africa’s last black rhinos are still well protected. The black mine lions stalk through the grass, flamingo’s crowd the Magadi Lake and the giant-tusked elephants are mostly seen along the permanent swamps. Open grass land covers most of the crater floor, turning yellow with wildflowers in June. The Makat soda lake is a great attraction for flamingos and other water birds, while predators hide in the mash to ambush animals that come to drink from the river which feeds the lake. Also on the crater floor are swamped, providing water and habitat for elephants and hippo as well as numerous smaller creatures such as frogs and snakes. Lunch in the crater, late afternoon drive to Mto wambu area. Stay overnight at Country lodge.
Day 07:
During 14 Days Classic Lodge Safari Cultural site visit & Zanzibar Excursion, Drive to Lake Manyara After breakfast we drive across the Great Rift Valley, one of the most dramatic features on earth, extending from the Dead Sea in Jordan to Mozambique in the South. Lake Manyara National park is renamed after the plant Euphorbia tirucallii, ‘Emanyar’ in Maasai language, and ‘ladies fingers’ in English. The park was registered in 1960 and covers an area of 330 sqkm, of which 220 sqkm is covered by lake and the rest by woodland. There is an enormous amount of wildlife such as tree-climbing lion, leopard, cheetah, hippopotamus, buffalo, elephant, zebra, wildebeest, baboon, other monkeys, pink flamingo and over 350 bird species. Day 8: Fly to Zanzibar.
Day 9: Zanzibar
Day 10: Zanzibar
Day 11: Zanzibar
Day 12: Zanzibar
Day 13: Transfer to stone town
Day 14: Afternoon FLY to Julius Nyerere international airport in Dar, connecting a flight to Home.
