Descriptions
Saadani National Park is Tanzania’s 13th National Park. Tourists can view animals basking along the Indian Ocean shores. It has an area of 1062 km2 and was officially gazetted in 2005, from a game reserve that had existed from 1969. It is the only wildlife sanctuary in Tanzania bordering the sea.

DAY 01; DAR ES SALAAM TO SAADANI NATIONAL PARK
At 0800hrs pick up at your hotel, drive to Saadani National Park with approximately 04 hours drive. Upon arrival, you will set off for a game drive in the park. In the afternoon drive to Tanganyika Coastal Campsite and Lodge www.tanganyikacoastalcampsite.co.tz for hot lunch and rest due to hot humid weather. In the afternoon when it is a bit cool set off for an afternoon game drive till 1800hrs; return to Tanganyika Coastal Campsite and Lodge for dinner and overnight www.tanganyikacoastalcampsite.co.tz
DAY 02; FULL DAY IN SAADANI NATIONAL PARK
At 0600hrs go for an early game drive until 0930hrs return for breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast enjoy a boat safari at Wami River (the timing depends on water tides). Afternoon return to the lodge for late lunch and some rest. Around 1500hrs enjoy another round of game drive until around 1800hrs drive back to the lodge for early dinner because this day you will engage in a wonderful night game drive until 2200hrs Dinner and overnight at Tanganyika Coastal Campsite and Lodge www.tanganyikacoastalcampsite.co.tz
DAY 03; VISIT SALT FARMS AND THE BEACH
After breakfast visit Salt Farms at Saadani village until afternoon where you will return to the lodge for lunch and rest before going to the beach walking, swimming and lazing under the sun Dinner and overnight at Tanganyika Coastal Campsite and Lodge www.tanganyikacoastalcampsite.co.tz
DAY 04; SAADANI TO DAR ES SALAAM
After breakfast drive back to Dar Es Salaam and drop off at your residence or the hotel
