DAY 01: KILIMANJARO INTL’ AIRPORT TO ARUSHA 

Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport met and transfer to Ngaresero Mountain Lodge for dinner and overnight

DAY 02: FULL DAY ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast drive in Arusha National Park with picnic lunch for full day big game in the park; late evening drive back to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Ngaresero Mountain Lodge

DAY 03: FULL DAY ARUSHA NATIONAL PARK

Leave at 0600hrs to Lark Plain with picnic lunch for full day of walking safari and bird watching; approximately 575 residents and migrant bird species have been recorded. Other animals found in the park include elephant, buffalo, giraffe, hippopotamus, hyena, zebra, baboon, and a wide range of antelopeslate evening return to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Ngaresero Mountain Lodge

DAY 04: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
At 0700hrs drive to Tarangire with picnic lunch for a game drive in the park. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Osupuko Lodge

DAY 05: FULL DAY TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast full day big game and birding in the park with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Osupuko Lodge

16 Days Birdwatching Northern Tanzania to Lake Victoria, Birding in Tarangire: With more than 500 species recorded it is the great bird-watching site

Mostly common are Ashy starling, Red and yellow barbet, Red bellied parrot, Speckle-fronted weaver and Tawny eagle 

DAY 06: TARANGIRE TO KIRURUMU MANYARA LODGE

After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara bird watching enroute arrive for late lunch at the camp. In the evening will do walking activities around the camp. Dinner and overnight at Kirurumu Manyara Lodge

DAY 07: FULL DAY LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast set off for a full day big game and birdwatching in Lake Manyara National Park with picnic lunch. Over 400 species of birds have been spotted, lesser flamingos, storks, cormorants, greater flamingos, egrets, and geese. The unusual groundwater forest at Manyara holds ashy flycatcher, mountain wagtail, tambourine dove and many other species of interest Evening return to Kirurumu Manyara Lodge for Dinner and overnight

DAY 08: LAKE MANYARA TO KARATU – GIBBS FARM

After breakfast leave for Gibbs Farm arrive for hot lunch; after lunch set off for guided walk in the forest up to Elephant Caves and waterfalls. Evening return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Gibbs Farm Lodge

DAY 09: KARATU- NGORONGORO CRATER

After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro arrive in time for hot lunch at Ngorongoro Tortilis Camp. Around 1500hrs descend to the crater floor for crater tour. Birds to be found including ostrich, cape wigeon, lesser flamingoes, white and abdim’s storks etc. Evening return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Tortilis Camp

DAY 10: FULL DAY CRATER TOUR

After breakfast descend to the crater floor for full day crater tour with picnic lunch. Late afternoon drive back to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Tortilis Camp

DAY 11: NGORONGORO TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast drive to Serengeti Tortilis Camp with picnic lunch via Olduvai Gorge site game drive en-route arrive for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Tortilis Camp 

DAY 12: FULL DAY SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast set off for a full day game drive in Serengeti National Park with picnic lunch. Evening drive back to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Tortilis Camp

DAY 13: SERENGETI TO SPEKE BAY

After breakfast drive to Speke Bay game drive en route with picnic lunch

Speke Bay is an inlet on the southeastern shore of Lake Victoria in western Tanzania. It’s typically reached by flying into the nearby town of Bukoba or by driving west about 15 minutes drive from Grumeti Game Reserve on the western side of the Serengeti.

Speke Bay is a less visited site on the southeastern shore of Lake Victoria that features a number of specialty birds not found farther east in Tanzania

16 Days Birdwatching Northern Tanzania to Lake Victoria, Birds that can be seen includes: African Openbill, Marsh Tchagra, and Swamp Flycatcher near the lake and Blue-cheeked Bee-eater, Black-headed Gonolek, Red-chested Sunbird, Slender-billed Weaver, and Northern Brown-throated Weaver. It’s often possible to find Verreaux’s Eagle-Owl and both Eurasian and Square-tailed Nightjars around. The most challenging part  is to sort out the 5 species of quite similar cisticolas found in the area. Certainly a highlight of any visit is watching the extraordinary African Paradise-Flycatcher darting after insects around. Dinner and overnight at Speke Bay Lodge

DAY 14: ACTIVITIES AT THE SHORE OF LAKE VICTORIA

After breakfast set off for canoeing activity at the shore of Lake Victoria. In the afternoon return for lunch, Around 1615hrs go for evening bird walk around lodge’s 100 hectares of savanna. Dinner and overnight at Speke Bay Lodge

Many of the indigenous birds will not be seen in Serengeti and can only be found at the lodge’s hectares of savannah such as swamp flycatcher, red- chested sunbird, northern brown- throated weaver, yellow- backed weaver, black-headed gonolek and blue-headed coucal  

DAY 15: SPEKE BAY TO ARUSHA

After breakfast drive back to Arusha with picnic lunch with various activities en route. Dinner and overnight at Ngarasero Mountain Lodge

DAY 16: TRANSFER TO KILIMANJARO INTL’ AIRPORT

After breakfast at leisure, afterwards transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your outbound flight
