Biko Adventures Tours is a local, family owned business specializing in adventure travel, birdwatching tours, mount Kilimanjaro and Meru trekking and beach holidays.
We are a licensed tour operator with License No. 010813 issued by The Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism that permits us to carry on business of tourism agent.
As a company we are passionate environmentally-conscious with qualified professional and registered field/tour guides that will give visitors an exciting experience and make your African safari memorable!
Our objective is to be an Exceptional destination management for travel professionals. This defines us and what we strive to achieve daily through our direct operation in Tanzania and our carefully chosen affiliates throughout Africa; we deliver great African holidays to our clients.
Our growth is fueled by the delight our customers have felt as they gaze upon the vast plains of Serengeti, the profile of a Maasai warrior surveying his cattle as the sun touches the horizon, the sound of gentle waves splashing on sparkling white beaches and the young climber checking his gear with magnificent Mt. Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. It has instilled a passion for this fascinating continent which continues with us today.
We are tour specialists – this is all we do. Our philosophy is quite simple. We create safaris that are first and foremost safe but are also enjoyable. We grew up on the plains of Africa, and so it gives us great joy to show visitors a glimpse of nature’s un-spoilt savannahs. As we believe it is important to preserve the last great wildernesses of the world, we have a solid conservation policy which includes using the most efficient vehicles and keeping them well maintained.
We do offer Lodge Safaris, all types of camping safaris beach safaris and Diving trips in the Indian Ocean. The camps normally move seasonally to ensure best proximity to the wildebeest migration.
We have developed some new safaris that take the less traveled road popularly known as “Off the beaten track safaris” these are very distinctive safaris aiming at bringing you into a close contact with nature.
