6 DAYS SERENGETI, NGORONGORO & ZANZIBAR EXTENSION

After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch via Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way you will stop at the Olduvai Gorge (optional) where anthropologists Louis and Mary Leakey made many significant discoveries, contributing to the theory that human life originated in Africa. After stopping for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti you will continue further into the park with a sunset game drive en-route arriving in time for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Tortilis Camp (FB)  

After breakfast, morning game drive in Serengeti after lunch proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority game drive en-route arrive at the crater rim for dinner and overnight at Rhino Lodge www.ngorongoro.cc   

After breakfast descends to the crater floor for a crater tour with a picnic lunch. The Ngorongoro Crater a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. Then late afternoon drive back to Arusha for overnight at Arusha Planet Lodge (BB) www.planet-lodges.com

After breakfast, at leisure afterwards, transfer to Arusha Airport for scheduled domestic flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport met and transfer to Tembo Hotel for overnight (BB) in Stone Town www.tembohotel.com 

After breakfast set off for a Stone Town tour on this day, you will see historical sites and architecture, you will visit local market place, Old slave market memorial, Old church, Sultan’s Palace. Mid-afternoon you will have lunch at a local restaurant afterwards you can do shopping with the help of your guide if you wish. Late afternoon transfer to Blue Bay Beach Resort and Spa (HB)

After breakfast at leisure, you can spend your day relaxing at the pool, or you can arrange the excursions like snorkelling, scuba diving etc with the Resort. Dinner and overnight at Blue Bay Beach Resort and Spa (HB)

After breakfast at leisure, afterwards, transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled domestic flight to Dar es Salaam in time for your connecting outbound flight (please advise flight details)
