2 Days Liwonde NP Experience in Malawi country.

Stay at the beautiful Mvuu camp, which is perfectly situated on the east bank of the Shire River and is surrounded by a group of immense baobab trees. Warthogs graze the lawns by day, hippos by night, while elephants regularly come to drink on the bank opposite. The park contains impressive elephant and hippo populations, some of the other species which can be found are hyena, crocodile, sable antelope, waterbuck, impala and bushbuck.
Liwonde National Park is also excellent for bird watching, both in terms of numbers seen and in terms of rarities. Experience the feeling of a truly great African game reserve.
Tour Plan
In the morning, depart from Lilongwe towards Liwonde National Park. Enjoy the scenic drive through authentic African villages and beautiful nature. Arrive at the campsite inside the national park and have your lunch while acclimatizing to the African wilderness. In the afternoon, take a sunset boat cruise on the Shire River. This is a unique way to view the animal activity of the park. After the cruise, enjoy dinner at the camp while listening to the sounds of the great outdoors. Relax over a drink before retiring for the evening.
Start the day with a pre-game drive breakfast at the camp, followed by an early morning game drive with an experienced guide. Spot even more mammals and birds in Malawi’s finest National Park before returning to the camp for a well-needed brunch. After brunch, return to Lilongwe to arrive in the late afternoon.
